Eating out in Ambleside why not try Zeffirellis ? A short walk from Brathay Lodge is the vegetarian restaurant, café Jazz bar and Cinema, which is Zefferellis Ambleside. The Priest Hole Restaurant is part of Kelsick Old Hall, one of the oldest buildings in the beautiful village of Ambleside in the centre of the English Lake District.  They serve fresh home-made traditional Cumbrian/British food, all sourced locally, complemented by our choice of tastefully selected wines, and locally brewed fine bottled ales and beers.

ISHAAS Indian Eatery serving fantastic Indian cuisine opened recently and has been fully modernised in a cosmopolitan style. The boast a full bar with selection of fine wines, speciality gins and vodkas. The menu has a wide choice dishes “presented with real style”. They are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
