Back again for 3rd time in year

My partner, myself and our dog absolutely love it here. Central location, easy parking, friendly staff. Great social distancing measures in place – we loved our breakfast in a box. Already planning our autumn trip

 

Lovely stay with the family

The hotel was really good location and Trevor the owner checked us in what a nice guy he is. Couldn’t complain the rooms where spot on and the breakfast was lovely too 🙂

We had the car parked right at our hotel door which was also ideal as we had quite a lot of stuff to take into the room as there was 4 of us staying for the weekend.

Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it

 

Another perfect day

Once again, I cannot recommend Brathay Lodge highly enough. It’s incredibly clean, comfortable. The boxed breakfasts during the Covid restriction period, are incredibly generous and filling, and included hot wraps, cereals, fresh fruit, fruit juice, flapjack, pastries and yoghurt ! Absolutely amazing with something for everyone. The management and staff are super friendly and helpful at all times. We are already planning to return, we had a superb weekend here again. Brathay Lodge never ever disappoints. Thanks Trevor, Carol and team xxx

Splendid stay

Brathay Lodge is very well run and our favourite place to stay in Ambleside. We concur with previous reviewers who highlight the pleasant and friendly staff who always make every effort to look after guests. The covid security measures in place are sensible and work well. The breakfast box is a splendid start to a day on the fells.
We look forward to our return in the Spring.
